Job Posting Title: Production and Media Operations Internship Req ID: 10133260 Job Description: Ready to make magic? We’re hiring for our 12-month undergraduate placement schemes. By undertaking an internship in one of our production teams, you will support the planning, development, and creation of content for our platforms. This can involve assisting teams working across production schedules and budgets, coordinating and providing administrative support for various departments, and creative support on both longform productions and marketing campaigns. We have multiple internships available within this remit. By applying for this opportunity, you will be considered for one of the below areas. If you have a particular preference, please note this in your cover letter. Animation This team commissions original animated series for Disney+. The Creative Animation Intern will work closely with the executives from pitch development to post-production; you will read submissions and scripts, and review animatics and animation. This role is ideal for a storytelling enthusiast with an interest or background in Animation. Disney+ Within our growing streaming business, you could be considered for multiple opportunities. As a Creative Operations Intern, you will support regional campaign planning across both creative & marketing functions as part of the in-house Creative Operations team. Or, as a Content Operations Intern you would oversee asset tracking for all EMEA releases as well as work on tool developments to improve tracking. Finally, as a Content Intern, you will oversee and evaluate content for Disney+ streaming and competing streaming services, updating internal trackers and conducting presentations on content highlights. Across these roles, we will be looking for interns with a passion for content and streaming. Live Action and Original Productions This team commissions original live action series for Disney+ across the UK and EMEA. In this internship, you will be supporting a lively team as they create original TV shows from early development through to release on the platform. This role is both administrative and creative, and you’ll have opportunities to read submissions and scripts for the team, as well as supporting shows already in development and production. You will also gain exposure to several teams across production, marketing, and programming, coordinating with those teams across a variety of projects. National Geographic (NG) You could be supporting the production, delivery or promotion of documentaries under a legendary brand for our linear channels and Disney+. As an Unscripted Live Action Intern, you could support the production of original unscripted content, managing meetings, tracking milestones, and assisting with research and documentation. Or as a Programming Intern, you could assist in creating detailed monthly programming schedules, analyse ratings data, and contribute to innovative schedule strategies, stunts and plans. Alternatively, you could lend your passion for TV to a Media Planning and Presentation Intern role where you will focus on promotions and campaign planning for live TV channels, involving system management and strategy execution. Or you could join as a Global Acquisitions Intern, working with producers and distributors from around the world to find the best programmes for our global networks, getting the inside track on deal negotiation, joining pitches and developing your strategic thinking. Finally, within our NG Promotions team, you could work as a Production Intern, where you will be overseeing promotional material for NG programs, managing voiceover & graphics bookings, quality checking and ensuring successful delivery internationally. Or as an Asset Management Intern where you will be supervising assets for campaigns, such as episodes, scripts, artwork, promos and more. You will also get the opportunity to utilise Photoshop to design images for on-demand platforms and creative newsletters that are distributed to teams across EMEA. Post-Production Operations As an intern within this team, you will be supporting our on-site post-production facility. You will monitor quality control for programmes and support the delivery of broadcast-quality shows to our linear channels and Disney+ streaming service. You will also liaise with creative teams and other business areas to compile updates on the exciting projects which have been created within the facility. This is an office-based internship. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).
