As a Design Cloud Motion Design/Video editor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Motion/Video work across a diverse set of daily requests from our varied client base.

In a typical month, you could be working on everything from simple animated ads for paid social campaigns, website explainer videos, adding captions to long form videos, making memes for viral social accounts and even just adding music to an existing video.

What you'll be doing day-to-day:

  • Communicating directly with our customers through our platform and Slack messenger.
  • Executing daily Motion Design/Video editing requests from client briefs.
  • Ensure requests are being delivered to an exceptional standard and on time.
  • Reviewing and proofreading your own work for accuracy and quality control.
  • Pitching in with design ideas for Design Cloud advertising and marketing campaigns.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Friendly, positive attitude with a can-do mentality and hunger to develop new skills in Motion Design/Video editing.
  • Highly organised with an exceptional eye for detail and passion for current and future Motion Design/Video editing trends.
  • Minimum of 3yrs commercial experience working full time in the creative industry. Agency experience is preferred or working as a busy in-house Motion Designer/Video editor.
  • Razor-sharp, diverse portfolio of varied Motion Design/Video editing work. We're looking for neat and tidy layout work above all. Please don't just send a single show reel.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe CC Motion Design/Video editing software (After Effects & Premier) and open to explore new AI tools to speed up production. You will be asked to demonstrate your design skills as part of the interview process.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately respond to briefs. The majority of our client design requests require a rapid turnaround and all requests must be delivered to a high standard. (You will be asked to demonstrate your ability to read a brief and tested on how quickly you can produce a draft as part of the interview process)
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to proof-read your own work before sending it back to clients is crucial.
  • Experience in communicating directly with clients is desired but not essential.
  • Possess the ability to look up and learn how to do new things if you’re unsure or have questions.
