Role Summary As a midweight motion and graphic designer, you will be responsible for delivering and inspiring stunning videos and graphic design projects that align with our business strategy and client briefs. You will also be supporting a team of creative individuals, bringing your video experience, animation, and visual storytelling to promote our brand, products, and solutions, and our clients, all employees, and share registration services. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and be able to generate dynamic ideas that resonate with both B2B and B2C audiences. You will be working closely with a global team based in the UK, the US, and India, collaborating with internal and external clients. For more complex briefs, you will work with the senior team to design compelling and successful creative videos and graphic design projects, always paying attention to detail and striving for visual perfection. In addition to your video and motion graphics skills, you should have a good knowledge of various design mediums and be proficient in Adobe Suite. You should also have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Suite. Your ability to interpret briefs, stay organised, and manage projects from start to finish will be crucial in this role. As a midweight motion and graphic designer, you will be passionate about bringing design to life and connecting with diverse audiences. Core Duties/Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: • Maintain and uphold high creative standards across all projects. • Monitor the review channel and actively participate in peer reviewing to ensure quality control. • Participate in daily resource huddles to optimise team operations. • Participate in inbox shift and contribute to efficient work allocation. • Adhere strictly to brand governance and standards to maintain consistency. • Adhere to brand communication and risk policies. • Complete compliance training within the designated time frame. • Support the India and UK team. • Actively participate in team meetings to contribute ideas and insights. • Create video and graphic design aligned with the strategic vision of the EQ brand. • Assist the senior design team in high-profile video production from their storyboards. • Stay updated with emerging technologies in design and innovation. • Interpret the business needs of clients and develop creative concepts and storyboards through to the final output. • Work on strategic client communication to effectively convey messages. • Ensure adherence to the artwork checklist and perform pre-press checks for accuracy. • Create artwork aligned with the strategic vision of the EQ brand. • Support the less experienced team on video production. • Meet with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements. • Participate in EQ collaborations and sharing sessions to foster learning. • Attend stakeholder meetings to provide creative input and insights. • Embody company values and foster team spirit within the company. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours: • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to develop and execute impactful, original, and innovative video production and graphic design. • A minimum of 8 years' experience in an in-house environment or agency. • Strong understanding and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud; Premiere Pro; After Effects; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. • Have some PowerPoint skills and experience. • Possess excellent typography skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Clear and compelling written and verbal communication. • Consistently driven to learn new skills and keep abreast of design innovations. • Good ability to storyboard, animate and video design from a script.
