Salary: Up to £36,507 per annum (dependent upon qualifications and experience) Working pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year) Closing date: 15 June 2025 We require an engaging teacher to join our Foundation Learning LDD/SEND provision to support learners with SEND, teaching across our land-based curriculum. At Sparsholt college we are constantly developing and improving our curriculum, and this is an exciting time to join the team. All of our study programmes involve working outside in our beautiful campus and the curriculum is linked to the preparing for adulthood agenda. The successful applicant will teach across the land-based courses focussing on animal management Entry 2 and 3, allowing students to learn vital skills to help them progress to the mainstream college programmes or into employment. The successful candidate will demonstrate: · Knowledge and understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND in particular MLD and ASC · The ability to support the raising of standards and aspirations of these young people through curriculum development · The ability to keep accurate records and use data from these records to improve the quality of teaching · The ability to work as a member of a team both with colleagues at the college and with other professionals, from outside the organisation · Be committed to improving the provision offered to our students · An ability to focus on finding solutions to the issues and problems · Have good understanding of land-based curriculums · Skills to teach across an ability range from Entry 1 to Level 1 Qualifications required: Degree in a relevant subject, Teaching Qualification, or willingness to attain a level 5 teaching qualification for which support will be provided. Desirable: Experience of entry level and level one curriculums, experience of teaching animal management. Want to make a career change and move into teaching?
