This is an exciting opportunity for arecent graduate or entry-level candidateeager to learn, develop, and contribute to a growing horse racing trading operation. In this fast-paced environment, you will work alongside experienced traders, gain valuable insights into market dynamics, and have the potential todevelop and implement your own trading strategies . Key Responsibilities: Market Monitoring:Track market movements, analyse odds, and make data-driven trading decisions. Risk Management:Monitor trading positions and adjust bets to manage exposure effectively. Assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies to optimize profitability. Data Analysis & Insights:Utilise data to identify trends, assess market sentiment, and refine trading approaches. Regularly review performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly. Product Enhancement:Work with the product team to improve horse racing offerings and betting products. Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with traders, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless strategy execution. Actively contribute to team discussions and brainstorming sessions. Operational Efficiency:Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. What You’ll Be Doing: Collaborating with the trading team to execute daily horse racing trading operations. Maintaining accuracy and consistency in decision-making and task execution. Working alongside mathematicians and software developers to refine trading strategies. Makingquick, informed decisionsbased onboth mathematical analysis and market intuition . Managing risk effectively with an understanding of market volatility. Workingflexible hours , including evenings and weekends, to align with racing schedules.
