Job Summary

Disney, a globally renowned leader in entertainment, is seeking an experienced, strategic, and innovative Human Resources Director to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all HR operations, strategies, and initiatives across Disneys global divisions.

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the companys goals and objectives.

  • Drive talent acquisition efforts to attract top-tier talent, including strategic workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor employee development programs to enhance career growth, skills, and performance.

  • Spearhead employee engagement and retention strategies, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and morale across teams.

  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster a more inclusive and collaborative workplace environment.

  • Manage compensation, benefits, and performance management systems to ensure alignment with Disneys vision and employee needs.

  • Collaborate with other departments to promote cross-functional teamwork and effective problem-solving.

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development support to HR teams and other leaders within the organization.

  • Lead organizational change efforts, ensuring a smooth transition during times of growth, restructuring, or strategic shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Masters degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly preferred.

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in human resources management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of success in talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization, including senior executives and employees.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation while maintaining a positive organizational culture.

  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, data analytics, and HR-related software tools.

Experience

  • At least 8 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on leadership, strategy, and operations within large-scale or multinational organizations.

  • Strong background in working remotely and managing distributed teams effectively.

  • Experience within the entertainment, media, or technology sectors is a plus, though not required.

  • Experience in driving diversity and inclusion initiatives, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all employees.

Working Hours

  • This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility in work hours, though you must be available during core business hours across various time zones.

  • Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, leadership events, or company initiatives.
