Job Title: Healthcare-HR Assistant

Job Location: Fully Remote

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Hours Per Week: 40

40 hours a week

No weekends or holidays

Role Summary:

The HR Assistant will be responsible for delivering excellent support and service to our team members in our centralized HR team. Responsibilities will include creating and carrying out HR processes in the areas of onboarding, HRIS, HR compliance, general HR inquiries, and more. Collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to promote the WelbeHealth values, team culture and mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for carrying out onboarding processes including communications with incoming team member, HRIS records and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Assist team members and supervisors with questions and processes relating to Talent processes, payroll, policies, and compliance.
  • Participate in team documentation, process improvements and other Talent team initiatives. • Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evening nights, weekends and overtime.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Protect privacy and maintain confidentiality of all company procedures and information about team members, participants, and families.
  • Follow WelbeHealth policies and procedures and participate in any required Quality Improvement activities, staff training and meetings.
  • Communicate regularly with Supervisor and team regarding workload and priorities.
  • Timely completion of all mandated trainings and education.
  • Timely completion of all mandated occupational health screenings as needed.
  • Exercises flexibility in performing assignments as business needs evolve.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

  • One year work experience or internship experience in human resources strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of and an interest in human resources function.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Fanatical attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
