Location: This is a part-time, remote Graphic Designer role

Salary: £30,000 per annum - pro-rata
Hours:
20 hours per week - afternoons Monday to Thursday and full day Friday.

Responsibilities: As a part-time Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in our success by creating outstanding website designs that provide the right user experience, utilise various elements and website transitions to captivate visitors and encourage them to engage with the site. You will understand how to design the site to direct them to the relevant areas of the website while focusing their attention on the actions you want them to take, leading them smoothly from one page to another throughout the site.

Brand development is a key aspect of this role, and the successful applicant must showcase their flair in this area.

Please note: As a full-service digital design agency, we have a development team that transforms your designs into code for the site. Therefore, we are not seeking and do not require a coder; this is purely a graphic design role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Display best-in-class design skills across website design, digital and print
  • See projects through from start to finish and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Present work with gusto to peers and clients
  • Ensure current client work is kept 'on brand’
  • Keep up to speed with industry innovations and trends
  • Ensure that work is completed within time and budget
  • Proactively contribute or otherwise assist where required

Specific skills/experience required:

  • Minimum 3 years of creative agency experience
  • Passionate about good design, motivated, ambitious and highly creative
  • Good experience with responsive design for web and email
  • Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of Web technologies
  • UI / UX experience
  • A creative designer who has a breadth of work across digital, print, and branding
  • Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD essential
  • Strong typography, layout & technical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to balance great design with meeting deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Design is preferred
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You must have a UK work permit to apply for this role
