Night Porter/Bar Person (Full-Time Role)

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team in a dual role as Night Porter/Bar Person.

Schedule

  • 2 Night Porter shifts per week (11pm to 7.30am)
  • 2 days off following Night Porter shifts
  • 3 Bar shifts per week - shifts vary (full time shifts)
  • Additional full-time Night Porter shifts required when covering holidays.

Night Porter Duties

  • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel overnight, monitoring guests and property.
  • Welcome and check in late arrivals in a professional manner.
  • Carry out security and cleanliness checks of the premises.
  • Assist guests with requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Respond to emergencies calmly and according to procedures.
  • Keep detailed logs of incidents and events during the night.

Bar Duties

  • Provide exceptional guest service in the bar and restaurant.
  • Take orders, serve food and drinks, and process payments accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organised bar and dining space, including setting up and resetting tables.
  • Assist with bar prep and stocking.
  • Work with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hospitality or customer service experience preferred (training can be given).
  • Comfortable working independently on night shifts.
  • Friendly, professional, and reliable with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Live-In Accommodation Available
