<p>This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK\'s leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.</p><p>Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent</p><p>The Fleet Service is a key function continuously developing to meet the needs of our services and delivering against an ambitious de-carbonisation strategy.</p><p>With a large mixed fleet of 750 vehicles and plant, you\'ll be pivotal role in managing a strong and dedicated team whilst overseeing all fleet management functions including all procurement, projects and compliance.</p><p>Responsible for a multi-million-pound budget, you\'ll ensure best value by delivering the most advantageous combination of efficiency, cost, quality and sustainability, so strong strategic and operational budget management skills are essential in this role.</p><p>You\'ll have a proven track record of strong leadership, with experience of implementing transformational change both within the service and corporately. With experience in a senior transport services role, you\'ll have in depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair operations as well as technical knowledge of vehicles sufficient to write and oversee technical specifications, lead on large scale procurement exercises and ensure robust contract management.</p><p>Passionate and driven with strong communication skills, you\'ll ensure that the fleet service is a beacon of good practice and best value - putting the team, our green aspirations and corporate awareness at the top of your agenda.
