As we continue to expand and grow our pipeline of work, we are looking for a talented Project Manager with specific experience in Industrial Demolition and/or Decommissioning to join the business and work on challenging, high-impact projects on a FIFO basis . Our rosters vary depending on the project, but typically follow a 2:1 schedule. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and direct project activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Resource Optimization: Maximise project resources while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Safety & Quality: Lead safety, quality, and environmental initiatives, fostering a positive culture across projects. Problem Solving: Identify challenges and develop strategies for effective solutions. Risk Management: Maintain and update risk registers, managing and mitigating project risks. Team Supervision: Oversee project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and achieving project goals. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with clients, unions, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication. Training & Development: Provide mentorship and training for project staff to support their growth. HSEQ Compliance: Ensure safety, environmental, and risk assessments are conducted and adhered to. Qualifications & Skills: The successful candidate MUST have proven experience managing complex Industrial Demolition and/or Decommissioning projects on major industrial facilities such as mine sites, refineries, power stations, or similar. A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or in another relevant field. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams (white and blue collar). Strong leadership in safety, environmental, quality, and commercial project delivery. Previous experience working on major industrial shutdowns or brownfield demolition scopes is an advantage. Experience in environmentally sensitive environments is preferred.
