Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, engaging online Spanish lessons to adult students (private and group classes) using our cutting-edge technology and comprehensive course materials. Develop and maintain a supportive learning environment, encouraging student participation and progress. Utilize your expertise and creativity to tailor lessons to students' needs, interests, and skill levels. Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and support staff to ensure seamless lesson delivery and address any concerns. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to refine your teaching skills and stay updated on best practices. Maintain accurate records of student progress, lesson plans, and other relevant documentation. Essential Qualifications & Requirements Native Spanish speaker with excellent communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish and conversational English, B1 level or higher). Minimum 1-year experience teaching Spanish as a second language. DELE/ELE certification (Diploma/Certificate of Spanish as a Foreign Language) or a degree in Linguistics, Education, Spanish, Modern Languages, or Literatures from an accredited institution. Highly computer literate with experience using digital tools and platforms. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of professionalism. No criminal record. Preferred Qualifications Online teaching experience. Previous experience working with adult learners. Familiarity with our teaching platform and technology. Technical Requirements To ensure a seamless teaching experience, we require: A reliable PC with Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater, 8GB RAM or more. A stable fibre internet connection with a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds. A LAN cable connection (not Wi-Fi). Noise-cancelling headsets and an bolthires web camera (with a backup headset recommended). A tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment. Uninterrupted Power Supply (bolthires) with a battery life of 4-5 hours (2000VA) for candidates in areas with frequent power interruptions. What We Offer A competitive hourly rate of $5.5-$5.9 USD.
