Delivery Driver Multi-drop – (Rochdale)

Daily base rate of £145.80 (including VAT) per route.

Lightening Logistics is seeking self-employed drivers that have held their FULL license (manual) for a minimum of 3 years with a maximum of 6 points, 23 years of age and above and are Fluent in English. If you are hard-working and able to provide your services in a fast paced, pressurised environment then we are keen to utilise your services!

Responsibilities:

Load vans and deliver packages with a smile

  • Adhere to all safety regulation on the road
  • Operate a mobile device for GPS and daily records
  • Greet and interact with customers and the public with a professional and positive attitude.

Requirements:

  • 23 Years of age or higher is required
  • Full manual UK/EU Driving License held for a minimum of 3 years
  • UK resident for a minimum of 1 years
  • No more than 6 penalty points within the past 3 years. NO other endorsements like TT, DA, IN codes.
  • Not banned from driving within the past 5 years
  • No more than 1 fault claim within the past 2 years
  • All non-spent criminal convictions must be referred to underwriters.
  • Independent problem solver with good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
  • The ability to be able to use stairs to deliver packages
  • Able to lift and deliver packages up to 25kgs
  • Will be required to use a smart phone with the relevant apps provided
  • Drug and alcohol tests will be undertaken and are mandatory
  • Weekend work is required
