Key Responsibilities

  • Cybersecurity Management: Monitor, detect, and mitigate security threats, ensuring the safety of networks, systems, and sensitive data.

  • IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for software, hardware, and network-related issues to clients and internal teams.

  • Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security breaches, implementing corrective measures to prevent future incidents.

  • System Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.

  • Network Security: Implement firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols to safeguard digital assets.

  • Training & Documentation: Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and create technical documentation for IT processes.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, developers, and management to enhance security policies and optimize support strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISSP, or CCNA (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.

  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, antivirus software, endpoint protection, and cloud security solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols, encryption methods, and penetration testing.

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently in a remote environment.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote work setting.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT support, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in a remote IT support or helpdesk role is a plus.

Working Hours
