Play a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth movement of cargo through UK ports. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is well-versed in Import & Export customs procedures and regulations. If you have a keen eye for accuracy and enjoy working with EDI systems, we want to hear from you. Location : Heathrow, UK Hours: 9:00 to 17:30 What will you be doing? Completing and inputting customs entries via EDI systems for cargo at UK ports. Ensuring accurate documentation is submitted within designated time frames. Notifying customers promptly upon entry completion, confirming costs, especially regarding Schenker DAN. Identifying and addressing document problems causing customs clearance delays, including potential demurrage costs. Handling Duty and VAT invoices, ensuring compliance with cost control measures. Fulfilling any other duties reasonably requested by your Manager. Requirements About You Experience in customs clearance and familiarity with the air industry preferred. Proficiency in basic home-use customs clearance procedures. Strong customer service aptitude. Exceptional organizational abilities, adept at prioritization and meeting deadlines under pressure. High energy levels, sound judgment, and a determined mindset with a sense of urgency. Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
