To deliver production-ready visual files that meet both brand and print specifications across a variety of channels and formats. This role requires a strong eye for detail, technical proficiency in colour and artwork prep, and the ability to manage complex workflows under pressure. Key Responsibilities Prepare and adapt artwork files to meet a wide range of print production requirements, ensuring consistency across materials and platforms. Retouch and adjust images to ensure optimal colour reproduction across diverse print processes (litho, flexo, gravure, etc.). Interpret and apply client specifications accurately while maintaining brand guidelines. Use studio tools and workflows to manage assets, file structures, and proofing stages efficiently. Conduct pre-flight checks to avoid common technical pitfalls like rogue tones, below-minimum dot areas, or colour misalignment. Maintain and update internal asset libraries and artwork templates in accordance with studio best practices. Communicate clearly with project and technical teams to flag potential issues and ensure timelines are met. Output proofs (physical or virtual) and support quality assurance through rigorous self-checks. Follow established internal protocols including file naming, folder structures, and SOP documentation. Log time and activities accurately in internal systems for reporting and resource planning. Take ownership of equipment maintenance including calibration of proofing devices and replenishment of consumables. Skills & Experience In-depth understanding of the print production lifecycle and technical artwork preparation Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator), as well as industry-standard proofing and colour management tools Solid grasp of colour theory, colour separation, and ICC profiling Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under time pressure Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented approach to file handling and delivery Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-driven mindset Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and working across a mix of clients or campaigns Performance Expectations High-quality, press-ready output that meets technical and brand expectations Consistent delivery of tasks on schedule, with full adherence to client SLAs and internal procedures Positive contribution to studio efficiency and continuous improvement efforts Collaborative team engagement and alignment with company values and environmental standards
