Who we are:
White Stuff was established in 1985 through a simple idea. This idea grew and now we have shops and concessions in the UK and internationally, selling women's and men's clothing as well as beautiful accessories. Our original prints (all designed in house), intricate details and considered design touches reflect our personality and make us subtly distinctive.

Our people are at the heart of our brand, constantly moving and driving us forward. We're sociable, talented and like minded and we're not hierarchical or political in how we do business. We encourage entrepreneurial ideas and accountability at all levels.

Who you are:
You are a talented writer who can create engaging, funny and original copy to deadline. You understand fashion and fashion terminology, and you're brimming with ideas on how to create best-in-class written content. You're a team player who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.

You'll be the voice of White Stuff, bringing the brand to life through your words.

Your role will be to produce accurate, informed and engaging marketing, product and editorial copy across all customer communication channels. You'll master the unique White Stuff tone of voice and be able to carefully sub-edit and proofread. You'll be full of ideas for editorial content.

What you'll need:

  • Experience in similar copywriting role(s), preferably in the fashion industry
  • Meticulous, efficient copywriting skills, a strong understanding of written English, and the ability to accurately sub and proofread
  • A creative, funny and versatile writing style to cover product, editorial and marketing/campaign copy
  • Knowledge of garment construction, textiles and fashion product terminology
  • An enthusiasm for brainstorming new ideas
  • Great communication skills, excellent time management and the ability to independently balance multiple tasks and deadlines at any given time
  • Good understanding of best practice SEO
  • Experience with a CMS and project management apps (e.g. Asana) an advantage
  • Good understanding of social media

This role is a part-time job share, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. We'd ideally like the candidate to work Wednesdays in our office in Oval, along with the rest of the brand marketing team.
