As a Copy Editor, you will be an integral part of our content creation process, ensuring our written materials are of the highest quality, consistent in style, and meet the company's brand standards. Join our team and contribute to creating impactful content that engages our audience and drives our brand's success.Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and editing various types of content, such as articles, blog posts, marketing materials, and more.Your Impact:Review and edit written content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, punctuation, and spelling, ensuring adherence to our company's style and brand guidelines.Maintain a keen eye for detail, identifying and correcting errors in grammar, syntax, and sentence structure.Ensure consistency in style, tone, and voice across all written materials.Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and improve their work, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.Develop, maintain, and educate the company around the editing guidelines, including copywriting style guides and grammar rules.Stay up to date with industry trends, grammar rules, and language usage to maintain the highest editorial standards.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including writers, designers, and marketers, to deliver high-quality content that meets project deadlines.Conduct thorough fact-checking and research to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.Format and structure content according to the publishing requirements of various platforms and mediums.Maintain a consistent editorial workflow and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Your Impact:Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience as a Copy Editor.Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in using editing tools and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Asana, Grammarly, etc.).Familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP Stylebook) and ability to create and maintain in-house style guides.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices is a plus.SolarWinds is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
