<div><h2>Overview</h2><p>Nobody\'s Child is looking for an experienced Designer to join our Casuals Department in Outerwear & Tailoring, working alongside a team of womenswear designers. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will bring a fresh eye, drive newness, and elevate our responsible product, aligning with our strategic direction.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Work closely with the Design Manager to own and execute range development end-to-end from briefs, collaborating with in-house departments such as print, buying, and merchandising.</li><li>Proactively drive research and present new ideas; identify department key items, key colours, new fabrics, and details in line with the NC customer.</li><li>Keep sustainability at the forefront of development; research and evolve the brand to be market leaders.</li><li>Source the newest sustainable fabrics and trims to elevate the range.</li><li>Lead and participate in regular team meetings to present the range to heads of department and the CEO.</li><li>Create technical design specifications for new garment developments and work with suppliers to prioritise fit and quality.</li><li>Actively participate in fittings in collaboration with the buying and tech teams.</li><li>Establish and build relationships with suppliers and fabric mills.</li><li>Manage critical paths and demonstrate organisation and drive to ensure correct samples are delivered on time.</li><li>Support wholesale packs alongside the Design Manager and assist with mending as needed.</li><li>Assist other departments during key seasonal peak times when required.</li><li>Contribute to environmental and social responsibility by integrating sustainable practices into everyday work; minimise waste, promote responsible sourcing, support circular economy initiatives, and encourage sustainable choices among customers and colleagues.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Around 6 years\' experience in a casual-facing role for a fast-paced womenswear brand.</li><li>Ability to multitask in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.</li><li>Creative eye and passion for a responsible product.</li><li>Legally authorised to work in the UK.</li></ul><h2>About Nobody\'s Child</h2><p>Nobody\'s Child is revolutionising women\'s fashion by creating beautiful clothing at an affordable price point that is accessible to everyone.
