Care Assistant required for 32 bed Family run care home supporting older persons and those living with Dementia.

Hours are 36 per week and this is on a weekly rota basis therefore shifts worked are variable from week to week so flexibility is a must.

Shift begins at 8am and finishes at 8pm for 12 hour shift or 8am until 2pm and 2pm until 8pm for six hour shift. All shifts have paid breaks.

You will have an NVQ Level 2 and at least 1 year experience of working within a similar setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
