For our IT team , we are looking for a Business Systems Analyst - CAD & PLM Systems As a Business Systems Analyst specializing in CAD and PLM systems, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our engineering processes and ensuring the effective use of our software tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement best practices in the use of CAD software (Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, PTC Creo), PLM systems (Keytech, SAP ECTR, Windchill, Vault), and engineering systems (Ansys, Comos).The engineering initiatives are executed in an international environment Key Responsibilities Analyze and document business requirements related to CAD, PLM, and engineering systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. Provide support and training to users on CAD and PLM tools, ensuring best practices are followed. Assist in the implementation and configuration of PLM systems, ensuring alignment with business processes. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality meets business needs. Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals, process flows, and training materials. Act as a liaison between IT and engineering teams to facilitate communication and project execution. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD and PLM technologies. Skills Proven experience in IT support, application support, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of software, hardware, and networking principles Strong technical understanding of CAD and enginering applications Experience with database management and maintenance, including SQL and data backup/restoration techniques Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT support and application maintenance Ability to work independently and as part of a global IT team, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Familiarity with Siemens Comos is required, Ansys is a plus Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in a CAD/PLM environment. Strong knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, PTC Creo) and PLM systems (Keytech, SAP ECTR, Windchill, Vault) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with project management methodologies is an advantage.
